SPEKTRUM ENSEMBLE Presents "The Cafe Connection - Music in Intimate Settings through the Years"

A journey through the centuries of great music inspired by intimate performance spaces – from Cafe Zimmerman, where Bach performed many of his secular works, to Parisian salons and cabarets where Edith Piaf started on her journey to fame.  Featuring the music of Kreisler, Puccini, Ysaye, Pauline Viardot and others as well as jazz improvisations inspired by Chopin.
