Vietnam Veteran John Melillo’s journey is reflected through his “Life Goes On!” oil painting series and exclusive, never seen before “original photos” he took in Vietnam. A short behind-the-scenes video series will also be presented where John reflects on the paintings to tell his unique story. During his time in Vietnam, John captured not just shock and awe, but also the lighter side of Vietnam. John prefers to reflect as much as possible on his Vietnam Tour as a positive “Life Goes On” experience.

“I Found Vietnam to be a Beautiful Country with some beautiful people. They were all trying to do what we all try to accomplish: survive, feed their families, be successful, and have a happy life! When you’re in all the turmoil of an active war, people still have to live,” said John

As an added bonus, John’s oil painting collection will include his recent “East End of Long Island Series,” based and inspired by his family heritage and life experiences growing up on L.I.’s East End from 1950 to present.
